Who Disturbs My Slumber?

This tiger used to creep me out.
Yes, I'm watching Aladdin. I also finished Life of Pi, so tigers kind of intrigue me right now. The answer to the question posed as the subject heading of this entry is simple: a social life! I actually saw people who weren't my neighbor(s) outside of class this weekend! And I got everything done in terms of my workouts and my work! And I enjoyed myself! I feel refreshed and as if it will be pretty easy to make it through this week and get things done. Of course, I'm not doing the greatest job executing that...but I have time.

I've been pretty anxious all day today and wanted a nice run to work it all out, but it won't stop snowing and I just didn't want to tolerate being pelted with cold, wet, melty snowflakes. The environment is not my friend today and I wasn't particularly feeling an indoor run.

Every time I watch Aladdin, I'm always sure he's going to tell Jasmine the truth from the start...it's just such an obvious thing to do.

Week 10 Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Friday I went to spinning. I wanted to give my ribs another day to recover, so I didn't go to the abs class afterwards. I probably should have because I later realized that I've made noticeable improvements on my arms and legs. I can see they're more muscular and what's better is that I'm finding in TRX, I can work more efficiently with my body weight. My abs need a little more work, so I'm hoping to go tonight if I can leave a speaker's reception without drawing a lot of attention to myself.

Saturday I ran seven. It was the end of my down week, but after my two harder runs this week, my legs didn't feel great when I started off. I debated running five, then felt a little better after I got a couple miles in, so I ran what I intended. I didn't bring my iPod at all, so it was quiet the entire time. Running in Florida without and iPod is a very different experience than running in Ohio without one...

Sunday I went to spinning and really enjoyed myself. My ribs were still sore...I could take time off, but sore isn't painful, so I may just let it work itself out until after the half marathon. It's getting closer and seeming more possible each workout!
